Help with Kotlin in Android development - private teaching

Job ID: 31154365

Budget: $15 – $50 USD

I develop in Java for Android since Android 4.4

But now I am migrating from Java to Kotlin, and despite most stuff seems simpler, I am still getting confused with those auto setters and gettes, no anottations, lambda, etc. Either, I haven't learned some Android features (Navigation, Binding) and I am kind of 'stuck in time'.

I don't have the time I used to have to learn by myself, since now I program only 10-20% of my time and the rest I use for business management. I don't have time for Udemy or whatsoever.

Hence, I am looking for private lessons, online and directly in coding, maybe with some screen sharing software.

I am using Android Studio Arctic Fox. Gradle 7, API 30, everything updated to latest stable. OS Ubuntu 20.10 or Windows 10. But I can change this if necessary.

The tasks:
In advance of 1 or 2 days (this can be flexible), I would suggest one specific lesson (for example, FragmentManagers, Binding), and I could send some simple code I am working in, or some part of my real apps, or nothing (most probably). And then in the agreed time I would connect, show my difficulties, make questions, etc. I would be very glad to see real-world problem solving, like the websites you use as references, how you check documentation, or how you would access some github repo to help, etc.

Currently what I feel I need is:
* Some Android Basics, like the relationship between fragments and activities (I always used only activities, I got lost with fragments), between the activities and the MainApplication, etc.
* How ViewBinding works;
* androidx.navigation
* Kotlin coroutines and background processing

I am also open for suggestions of other topics if you see or feel it would be necessary for me.

The payment: by hour, considering since connection time until disconnection.

** IMPORTANTE: THE TIME**: I am available only from 10:00 UTC to 12:00 UTC, (Brasilia 7AM to 9AM) and from 00:00 UTC to 02:00 UTC (Brasilia 9PM to 11PM). I can't connect other time, it is not possible.

The language: English (intermediate or fluent) or Portuguese. I am Portuguese native and English IELTS C1.

Feel free to ask any questions. Thanks.
