Global Sabbath Timer App

I want to release a simple, calm-looking mobile app that automatically marks the Sabbath for any user, anywhere in the world. From Friday dusk to Saturday dusk— with an optional setting that carries through to Sunday— the app should detect the local sunset (GPS or manual timezone entry), pop up a gentle reminder to set the phone aside, start a visible countdown clock, and finally display a Biblical verse when the time is complete.

Both iOS and Android builds are needed, preferably with a shared codebase (React Native, Flutter or a lightweight equivalent) so updates stay in sync. The reminder must appear as a popup message even if the device is locked, but should never override the user’s system settings for Do Not Disturb. Verses can live in a small local bundle for offline display; I’ll supply the text once the framework is in place.

Deliverables:
• Universal sunset calculation or API integration that covers every timezone
• Customisable duration toggle (Friday–Saturday or Friday–Sunday)
• Popup reminder, live countdown timer, and end-of-Sabbath verse screen
• Clean, minimal UI and store-ready binaries for both platforms
• Source code with brief setup notes so I can maintain it going forward
