Call for Proposal: Full-Stack Developer for Horse Community App

Project Overview

We are building a horse community mobile application that connects horse owners, riders, and service providers. The app will support:
• Horse riding reservations (time slots with trainers/arenas)
• Horse housing/boarding (stall or stable rentals, monthly/weekly)
• Horse medical/veterinary services (booking vet visits, uploading health documents, vaccination reminders)

The backend will handle booking workflows, payments, and notifications. The frontend (mobile app) will provide an intuitive user experience for riders, stable owners, and veterinarians.

Key Features

Backend
• User authentication & role management (rider, stable owner, vet, trainer, admin)
• Horse profiles (health records, documents, photos)
• Booking engine with conflict prevention (riding, housing, medical)
• Payment integration (Stripe or local payment gateway)
• Push notifications (booking confirmations, reminders, invoices)
• Search & geolocation (stables, trainers, vets nearby)
• Document upload (PDFs, images)

Frontend (Mobile App)
• Built with Flutter (cross-platform for iOS and Android)
• Clean and responsive UI/UX
• Calendar view for reservations
• Profile dashboards for different roles (owner, stable manager, vet)
• Push notifications (via FCM/APNs)
• Secure in-app payments

Technical Expectations
• Backend: FastAPI (Python) or Node.js (NestJS/Express) with PostgreSQL (preferably with PostGIS for geolocation).
• API documentation: OpenAPI (auto-generated).
• Payment: Stripe integration (booking, refunds, payouts).
• Hosting: Vercel for frontend and suitable cloud service (AWS/GCP/Azure) for backend.
• Version control: GitHub/GitLab with CI/CD pipelines.

Deliverables
1. Backend with REST/GraphQL APIs (fully documented).
2. Mobile app built in Flutter for iOS & Android.
3. Database schema, migrations, and sample data.
4. Integration of payments and push notifications.
5. Deployment instructions and minimal documentation.

Proposal Requirements
• Proven experience with Flutter (please provide portfolio apps).
• Proven experience with backend development (FastAPI/Node.js preferred).
• Examples of similar booking/marketplace/community apps you have developed.
• Suggested timeline and milestones (backend, frontend, integration, testing).
• Estimated budget (fixed or hourly).
