FuelWise AI: Web/Mobile App Development

Job Title:
Full-Stack Developer for Fuel Optimization App (React + API + AI-ready)

Description:
We are looking for an experienced full-stack developer to build a lightweight and powerful web/mobile application called FuelWise AI — a smart assistant for truck drivers that shows when and where to refuel for maximum savings.

The goal is to help drivers in the U.S. logistics industry save hundreds of dollars each month by identifying the most cost-efficient fuel stations along their route using AI-powered price predictions.

Responsibilities:
Build a fully functional PWA (or React Native app) for route-based fuel optimization.

Integrate fuel pricing APIs (e.g., GasBuddy, OPIS, or other open data sources).

Set up route input (origin–destination) with price recommendations.

Display results in list + map view (Google Maps or Mapbox).

Implement IFTA-compliant reports and refuel history.

Optional: AI/ML model integration for price prediction (can be mocked initially).

Optimize for speed, mobile usability, and driver convenience.

Deliverables:
Frontend (React/Next.js or React Native) with mobile-first design

Backend (Node.js or FastAPI)

PostgreSQL or Firebase DB

Swagger API (based on existing YAML spec)

Clean UI with minimalist UX (mockup provided)

Fuel card filter and savings calculation

Deployment (Vercel / Firebase / AWS — your choice)

Bonus: basic admin panel

Requirements:
3+ years of experience with React/Next.js or React Native

Strong API skills (REST, Swagger/OpenAPI)

Familiar with geolocation, mapping (Google Maps or Mapbox)

Optional: understanding of fuel card programs or U.S. trucking/logistics
