Force Lenovo Tablet to Boot in Landscape Mode
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have a Lenovo tablet in my car that I've set up as a head unit. The tablet is supposed to be in landscape mode, but Android defaults to portrait mode on boot, which causes an awkward delay before switching to landscape.
I've already modified the boot animation and boot logo to landscape, but I need help forcing the system to stay in landscape mode from startup.
Requirements:
- Lock the default orientation to landscape from startup.
- Ensure the solution persists across reboots.
I am not sure if rooting the tablet is necessary, but I am open to it if required. Please note that I have tried some solutions in the past, but they did not work.
