Budget: €750 – €1,000 EUR
We seek an experienced React Native developer (Preference for Portuguese Speaking) to enhance and fix our existing S360 football mobile app, available on both iOS and Android platforms. The app provides live scores and updates for football matches, and we aim to improve its performance, user experience, and feature set.
Top Priority Tasks:
Improve Sports API Integration:
- Ensure the app uses the correct endpoints to fetch real-time football data, including live minutes, goals, cards, and stats.
- Achieve real-time accuracy without duplicate entries.
SDK Updates:
- Update the app to the latest SDKs to ensure compatibility with Android and meet all approval requirements.
Enhance UX/UI:
- Fix issues related to UI deformation on different mobile devices, including iPads.
- Ensure the app meets Apple's standards for a clean and responsive design.
User Profile Picture:
- Enable users to upload and display their profile pictures within the app.
User Profile Information:
- Collect and manage user information, including age, gender, and city.
Next Stage:
- Implement and Review New Figma Designs: In the 2nd phase of the project, plan to completely overhaul the app’s UX/UI based on the new Figma designs.
News Aggregation:
- Integrate APIs from X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram to aggregate all news related to Sporting Clube de Portugal, centralizing updates within the app.
App Passcode:
- Implement a passcode feature for enhanced security and easy access.
Analytics Readiness:
- Ensure the app is prepared for Google Analytics 4 to track user interactions and gather insights.
Starting Elevens Screen:
- Develop a new screen displaying the starting elevens on a football pitch as per the Figma designs.
MVP Voting:
- Improve or create a new mechanism for MVP voting, allowing users to vote during the last 10 minutes of the game.
User Ranking Feature:
- Implement a ranking feature where users can see their scores based on correct match predictions and participation in future quizzes.
- Ideal Skills and Experience:
> Proven experience in mobile app development using React Native.
> Strong understanding of sports data integration and real-time updates.
> Proficiency in updating and maintaining SDKs for iOS and Android.
> Expertise in user interface design and ensuring compatibility across various devices.
> Familiarity with integrating social media APIs and handling user data securely.
