I'm looking for a skilled app developer to create a cross-platform (iOS and Android) application for the fly-fishing community. This app should assist users in identifying the names of imitation fly patterns in their fly box.
The App most fisherman are using is called - IdentaFly
Key Features:
- Fly Pattern Identification: The primary functionality of the app is to help users identify their fly patterns. This will require a comprehensive database of various fly patterns.
- Insect Database: The app should include a database of common insect occurrences by region. This will help users understand which flies might work best with different insects on the water.
- Ability to log what fly you are using on the river with weather/location/date so you can track your success during different times of the year.
Ideal Skills:
- Cross-platform mobile app development
- Using AI (via Google Images, Bing) to assist the ID's
- Experience with creating interactive databases
- Knowledge or interest in fly-fishing and entomology would be a plus.
