Flutter Fishing App Framework

Job ID: 40548713

Budget: $10,000 – $20,000 USD

I need a production-ready Flutter / Dart code-base that mirrors the core experience of lake-link.com while remaining clean enough for my team to extend after launch. All data—user accounts, weather, map layers, and our fishing forecaster—is already exposed through stable REST / JSON APIs, so the primary focus is the mobile presentation layer and tight Garmin SDK integration.

Key functions to ship
• Secure e-mail / social login tied to existing Lake-Link profiles
• Garmin lake maps rendered with the official SDK, plus full offline caching so anglers can view chart data without coverage
• Dynamic weather updates alongside additional map overlays we expose through our endpoints
• Fishing Forecaster module showing predictive recommendations in a simple, swipeable interface fed by our live scores API

Tech expectations
• Flutter 3.x targeting iOS and Android from a single code base
• State management with Provider, Riverpod, or Bloc—whichever you are fastest with and can document clearly
• Null-safe, well-commented Dart, separated into data, domain, and UI layers
• Build scripts for TestFlight / Play Console plus basic CI setup (GitHub Actions is fine)

Schedule
Alpha build with maps and login by mid-September, feature-complete beta by October, store-ready release before November ends. Frequent TestFlight drops and issue tracking in Jira or GitHub Projects will keep us on pace.

Deliverables
1. Source repo with history
2. Compilable APK / IPA builds at each milestone
3. README covering environment setup, Garmin SDK steps, and API stubs
4. Short Loom or YouTube walkthrough of final build

If you have shipped at least one Flutter app that handles offline maps or heavy GIS layers, let’s talk—I’m ready to start immediately and can supply API keys and the paid Garmin license on day one.
