Flutter & Firebase Marketplace App
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
I am building a multi-country marketplace with Flutter and Firebase that lets customers summon nearby mobile vendors—ice cream vans, food trucks, coffee vans, vegetable sellers and more—in real time. The project must run smoothly on iOS, Android and the web from a single codebase.
List of features:
1. Authentication & role setup:
2. User profile module:
3. Customer side - request creation flow:
4. Vendor - map & request discovery:
5. Vendor - request handling:
Integrate Firebase Authentication for email and OTP logins. •
Manage users with role-based access (customer/ vendor). •
Ensure sessions persist with auto-login. •
Include basic validation and error handling. •
Create customer profiles with name, phone and location details only. •
Develop vendor profiles featuring business name, category and availability toggle only. •
Allow users to edit and update their profiles as per above mentioned details only. •
Design a user-friendly request creation screen. •
Enable category selection and note addition. •
Automatically fetch user location using Google Maps API. •
Submit requests to Firestore and display their status as submitted. •
Google Maps integration with request markers. •
Filter requests based on distance. •
Show distance between vendor & customer. •
Vendor location update support. •
6. Real-time live tracking (NEW):
7. ETA calculation (NEW):
8. Status flow (enhanced):
9. Basic AI routing (simplified logic):
10. Real-time sync (firestore):
View nearby requests list. •
Accept requests. •
Status flow: •
Pending → Accepted → On the Way → Completed. •
Handle edge case: •
Show “No vendor available” if no one accepts. •
Customer can track vendor live on map
•
Smooth movement using continuous location updates (not jumping) •
Location updates every 5–10 seconds •
Optimized using Firebase + location streaming •
ETA shown to customer after vendor accepts request •
Based on Google Maps Distance Matrix API •
Dynamically updates based on vendor movement •
Final flow: •
Pending → Accepted → On the Way → Completed
•
“On the Way” reflects: •
Active vendor movement. •
Live tracking + ETA visibility. •
Rule-based intelligent request assignment based on: •
Vendor proximity. •
Request time. •
Vendor availability. •
Nearest/ high-priority requests highlighted. •
No heavy AI (kept lightweight for MVP performance). •
11. Auto-cancel logic:
12. Push notifications (FCM):
13. Request history (basic):
14. Admin panel (confirmed update):
Live updates using Firestore listeners. •
Status sync across customer & vendor apps. •
Optimized data structure for performance. •
Request auto-cancels if not accepted within defined time. •
Status updated to Cancelled. •
Customer notified. •
Fallback message: “No vendor available”. •
Notify vendors of new requests. •
Notify customers of status updates. •
Works in foreground & background. •

You will receive:
Coffee. •
Ice Cream. •
Apply a consistent theme with colors and fonts. •
Build all necessary screen UIs. •
Ensure a responsive layout. •
Include loading states and error UI. •
Conduct end-to-end flow testing. •
Fix critical bugs. •
Perform basic performance checks. •
Complete source code will be provided after project completion and final payment. •
Client will have 100% ownership of the codebase. •
No restrictions on future usage, scaling, or modifications.
