Flutter Android: Persistent Location Tracking

My app does not properly record fitness activities in the background. Sometimes, the activity gets shut down by the phone. This does not happen with the competitor, Strava.
Your job would be to make sure that the background recording does not ever stop, unless the user pauses the activity recording himself.
No data of the activity shall get lost either. Currently, sometimes the type of the activity gets lost when the activity is running for a long time. This also does not happen with the competitor.
Project is 100% Dart, Flutter.
Only fix the above, no new features need to be implemented.
