Flutter Android App Video Integration
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD
I'm in need of a developer who is experienced in working with the Flutter framework and the Dart programming language, specifically for Android applications. The main task at hand is the addition of video capture and image parsing to my existing Android app.
Dealermade wishes to introduce the capability of video capture on the android Media Maker app. This capability will be used in two different ways. Both situations should result in a 360 video around a vehicle.
- The first use case would be a user placing the Media Maker device onto a motorized rail system. The user will begin recording on the device and then set the motor into motion, once the motor's rotation is complete, they will end recording.
- The other use case would be the user capturing a recording while walking around the vehicle carrying the Media Maker device and recording.
Key responsibilities for this project include:
- Create and add the video capture feature within the app
- Once a video is captured the software should extract individual frames to create an even 360 view of the car.
- The individually captured frames will have copies of itself created in different sizes that our system requires.
- The individually captured frames will be categorized and uploaded to our API along with the rest of the StudioSession.
Non-Critical Criteria:
- Recording of video and beginning/end of motor sequence will not be synchronized, therefore we expect extra recording at the beginning and end of the sequence. Software that can account for this would be ideal.
- From the video captured, some frames will be more in focus than others, we need the best pictures to be available from the video to be selected.
The ideal candidate for this project should have:
- Proficiency in Flutter and Dart, with proven experience in Android app development
- Prior experience and understanding in video capture and parsing
- Knowledge of efficient data processing practices
If you are confident in your skills and have the necessary expertise to complete this project, I am looking forward to hearing from you.
