Fixing connection validation issue on android java/javscript app

We have existing app running on android tablet written in java/javascript. The app supposed to connect to another application upon successful license verification from our server.
Changes made in Android update breaks this license validation process.
We need someone knowledgeable in java/javascript and Android, as well as ability to go through and understand existing code to fix this issue.
