Fix minor code issues with Meta Quest 2 or 3 Unity OpenXR project

Job ID: 37488658

Budget: €12 – €18 EUR

I am looking for a skilled Unity developer who can fix minor code issues with my Meta Quest 2 or 3 Unity OpenXR project which have shown when moving towards release in Oculus / Meta App Lab.

Specifically, I need someone who can address / code:
- functionality issue: Add Re-center functionalty when holding the Oculus button in OpenXR
- performance issue with hand tracking: I have multiple objects which can be moved with the hand. Currently this is done with individual scripts (one per object) where the 'grab' is being processed which results in performance issues / frame drops below 60 fps which Meta doesn't allow on the App Lab.

The project as such works fine, just can't pass beyond the App Lab gates with these (supessedly easy to fix) issues.

I have access to the full Unity project and packages of the project, so the developer will be able to work directly with it.

The target completion date for this project is within a week, so I am seeking someone who can work efficiently and deliver quality results within this timeframe.

Ideal skills and experience for this job include:
- Proficiency in Unity and OpenXR on coding level
- Strong understanding of code debugging and problem-solving
- Experience in addressing performance issues
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines

If you have the necessary skills and can commit to completing this project within a week, please submit your proposal.
