Fix Kotlin app one bug
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
Hi,
I'm encountering an issue with my current Android Kotlin app. The tablet app is supposed to deliver new orders when the computer POS (WAMP - Apache - MySQL) receives a new order. The POS software simply writes new orders into MySQL. The app keeps attempting to post/GET to the POS computer via a PHP script, which is designed to read the MySQL details. Once new orders are detected, they should be displayed according to the Android app settings on the Android App.
Everything has been functioning smoothly for months; suddenly, it's unable to fetch new orders, and an error is indicating that the Standalone Coroutine was cancelled.
Here are the facts:
The app and POS machine are on the same network (intranet 19.168.xx.xx).
The app is pointing to the correct IP address.
There's a config file in the PHP files, and login details to the MySQL database are correct.
The app is connecting to the PHP. (i tried changing php config file db password to a wrong one, and the app show another error)
The app can connect to the given URL address but can't pull data from the MySQL database.
I can furnish you with the SQL, POS server PHP files, and the source code of the app. However, please refrain from blind posting. In other words, avoid sharing your portfolio without specific details about your capability to address the issue. If you engage in blind posting, I will just hide the bid.
Submit your bid with a reasonable price for the fix, along with a concise description of your approach. Outline how you plan to identify, examine, and pinpoint the potential problem areas based on the errors displayed on the Android tablet.
Thank you.
