Fix Android App BLE Data Reception
Budget: £18 – £36 GBP
I have designed a proof of concept app that has a large potential market. The app connects to a peripheral device via BLE and receives data from the peripheral device
The app works perfectly with one peripheral, which i had a freelance developer work on the necessary ble code using the initial ble device i had. Now I'm facing issues when I try and connect a different ble device, which performs the same function and output, however is not relaying data to the app. I need an experienced developer to assist me in diagnosing the issue and modifying the BLE service code accordingly to enable data reception from the new device.
I am wanting the app users to be able to receive the data from the same make / model of the ble peripheral device
Key Requirements:
- Extensive experience with Android app development
- Deep understanding of Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and its service code
- Proficient in troubleshooting BLE connection issues
- Capable of modifying service code for compatibility with different peripherals
- Able to work with string data transmission
The goal is to ensure the app can successfully receive string messages from this second peripheral. I've verified that the new device is indeed sending data correctly, so the issue lies within the app's ability to receive it.
