Description:

I am seeking an experienced Android developer to help improve my AI Girlfriend app. The app currently uses a custom API and a backend that integrates with ChatGPT for conversations. However, I want to enhance the app by allowing it to run a local large language model (LLM) on the user's device, removing any external dependencies for a more seamless and uncensored experience.

Objectives:

Local LLM Integration: Replace the current ChatGPT integration with a local LLM that can run directly on the user's device. The goal is to make conversations more interesting, personalized, and uncensored, without any reliance on external servers.

Lightweight Model: Ensure that the local LLM is compact and efficient, so it does not significantly affect the app’s performance or storage requirements. It should be optimized for mobile devices to keep the app size manageable (suitable for Play Store upload).

Improved User Experience: Focus on making the conversation flow smoother and more engaging, enhancing the app’s interactivity and "girlfriend" persona. The app should be able to adapt its responses dynamically based on user input.

Required Skills:

Strong experience with Android development and Java/Kotlin programming.
Familiarity with Machine Learning and LLMs, with knowledge of local model deployment.
Experience with AI models on mobile platforms, optimizing for low latency and minimal storage.
Knowledge of Play Store requirements for app size and performance.
Ability to troubleshoot and optimize existing backend code.
