Dual Brand Firmware UI Overhaul
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m preparing a firmware update that will refresh the entire user interface on recent-generation iPhone and Samsung devices, and I’m looking for a developer who can take the project from concept to a flash-ready package. The job centres exclusively on software development—specifically, building and integrating a brand-new UI layer into each platform’s firmware while respecting Apple’s and Samsung’s distinct architecture, signing and flashing requirements.
Here’s what I need you to handle:
• Design or adapt the new interface assets and layouts, then integrate them into an iOS-compatible IPSW and an Android-compatible AP/BL/CSC package.
• Maintain existing performance and security baselines; although the primary goal is visual refresh, stability must be uncompromised.
• Validate the builds on at least one current iPhone model and one recent Samsung Galaxy model (you can specify which devices you can physically test).
• Produce clear, step-by-step flashing or OTA instructions so that my in-house team can deploy the update safely.
• Supply full source, signed binaries, and a concise change-log for each platform.
Acceptance criteria will be successful flashing on both test devices, full boot with the new UI visible, and no regression in core functions such as calls, connectivity, and app launches.
If you already work with Xcode, XIP/IPS, Odin-friendly partitions, custom recovery or MDM distribution, let me know in your bid—your toolchain expertise will speed up approval.
