UI/UX Design of a Cross-platform Sports Mobile Application
Budget: €750 – €1,500 EUR
Project Overview: I represent a company that is one of the leading providers of sports results and fixtures. We are currently looking for a UI/UX professional to design a fresh and user-friendly User Interface (UI) for our new cross-platform mobile application that we are started developing for Android and iOS.
Project Description: The main purpose of this project is to design the UI/UX of a cross-platform mobile application (both light and dark themes) for sports live scores, results, and fixtures. The main purpose of the application is to show various information about various sports (Soccer, Basketball, and Tennis mainly) like match results, fixtures, competitions standings, competitions and player statistics, etc. Note that, we only need the design of a template from a UI/UX designer and not the actual implementation of the mobile application. Previous experience with designing similar User Interfaces will be considered a strong advantage for a candidate to be awarded the project. Please include any previous work on a similar project from your portfolio when applying for the project.
Additional Details & Requirements:
1. Create the design using Framer or another similar tool to make it easier to make small changes by the company after the delivery.
2. The designer who will undertake the project will have to sign an NDA agreement with the company before being handed information about the company's plans for its new Mobile Application.
3. We plan to create a design for a mobile application that showcases 3 sports (Soccer, Basketball, and Tennis) at this point. We estimate a total number of ~50 unique screens (including subtabs) that need to be designed. We will start by designing the main screens of the application (~10 screens), as well as the screens for Soccer (~11 main screens, 35 in total including their subtabs), which is the more important and includes the highest number of screens. Then, for the other Sports, most of the screens will be quite similar with some additional pages specific to each Sport (e.g., ranking of Tennis players).
4. To ease the implementation of the mobile application, we would like to keep the design of pages as sport-agnostic as possible (whenever this is possible). For example, there should be only small and necessary differences between the main screens of Soccer and Basketball and Tennis.
5. We already have a mobile application available on Android devices through Google Play, which needs to be re-designed but includes a large amount of the screens that the new mobile application will include. At the same time, the company's in-house team of developers and designers started creating an initial version of the new design of the application and for certain screens, we have an idea of what we want to include so the person who will undertake the new design will receive this feedback and all existing material to use as a starting point for the new design. The UI/UX designer who will undertake the project should consider the existing design and material and ensure that while we want a new fresh design, we do not want to change the UI of the application a lot and confuse or displease the existing users of the application.
P.S.1: Our company is planning to also create a fresh new design for its website in the upcoming months, and a rebranding processing is also in the plans of the company for the near future, so the person who will undertake the design of our new mobile application may have the chance to also awarded with additional work in the future if the company will be satisfied with his/her work on the mobile application.
P.S.2: Please check the attached document for a more detailed description and additional requirements.
