Job Description: Frontend Freelance Developer – SIP/VoIP & Messaging (Coimbatore, India)
About the Role:
We are looking for a Frontend Developer experienced in cross-platform SIP/VoIP & XMPP messaging applications for Android, iOS, Windows, and macOS. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Secure WebRTC, SIP over WebSockets (WSS); native SIP, and native XMPP real-time messaging, and secure communication protocols using modern frontend frameworks that support single-codebase deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop a cross-platform UI for VoIP and messaging applications.
• Implement Secure WebRTC (audio/video calls), SIP over WSS, and real-time messaging.
• Implement Secure WebRTC (audio/video calls), SIP over WSS, and real-time messaging.
• Deep working knowlegde of native SIP
• Deep working knowledge of native XMPP
• Implement secure communication with TLS, SRTP, DTLS, and end-to-end encryption.
• Integrate push notifications for VoIP calls and messages.
• Integrate push notifications for XMPP messages.
• Optimize performance for low-latency media streaming and real-time messaging.
• Debug and resolve SIP/WebRTC/messaging-related frontend issues.
Required Skills:
• Cross-Platform Development: Experience in React Native, Flutter, .NET MAUI, Tauri, Electron, Qt/QML or equivalent, as may be required to deliver business objetcives.
• VoIP & Messaging Technologies: SIP, WebRTC, Secure WebSockets (WSS), STUN/TURN, XMPP, or Matrix Protocol.
• Security & Optimization: TLS, SRTP, DTLS, background call handling, and push notifications.
• Tools & Deployment: Git, CI/CD, cloud services (AWS, Firebase, Azure).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with PJSIP, Linphone SDK, JSSIP, SIP.NET; WebRTC
Experience with XMPP
Experience with SIP, SDP, ZRTP, SRTP
Prior work in real-time communication and messaging applications.
Strong understanding of multi-platform UI/UX best practices.
