Cross-Platform Social Networking App
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m looking for someone who can take a fresh social-networking idea from concept to release on both iOS and Android. The core of the product is a familiar Friends/Followers model, so smooth user discovery and connection flows are essential. Every account will have its own profile, real-time messaging, and a dynamic news feed that updates as soon as new content is posted.
Because I plan to introduce in-app Payment options later in the roadmap, the architecture should already be payment-ready—think cleanly separated business logic and secure, token-based transactions—even if the first public version only surfaces the basics.
I’ll provide the branding guidelines and rough wireframes; you’ll handle UI polish, native (or cross-platform) app development, backend services, and deployment to TestFlight and an internal Google Play track. Regular progress builds and clear documentation are important so I can demo features to stakeholders along the way.
Deliverables
• Fully functional iOS and Android apps with user profiles, one-to-one & group messaging, and a scrolling news feed
• Scalable backend (Node, Django, Firebase, or similar) with REST or GraphQL endpoints, authentication, and push notifications
• Payment-ready modules integrated but feature-flagged for future activation
• Source code in a shared repository, installation notes, and minimal test coverage for critical flows
Once those milestones are hit, I’ll take over for beta testing and marketing. If this sounds like something you can own end-to-end, let’s discuss your approach and timeline.
