Cross-Platform Social Messaging App
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I need a complete social media application whose core feature is instant text messaging. The build must feel at home on both Android and iOS, load quickly, and keep every interaction secure through robust authentication and encrypted chat.
Scope of work
You will design the UI/UX, architect the back-end, and wire everything together so users can register, log in, find friends, and exchange real-time text messages with push notifications. Voice messaging and video calls are outside this phase, yet the codebase should remain clean enough to bolt them on later without a rewrite.
Quality expectations
• Native-level performance (React Native, Flutter, or full-native Swift + Kotlin—your choice).
• Thorough unit, integration, and device testing before each milestone build.
• Prompt bug fixes discovered during acceptance testing.
• Strong attention to data privacy and transport security.
Deliverables
1. Production-ready iOS and Android apps.
2. All source code, assets, and build scripts in a private repository.
3. Technical documentation covering setup, deployment, and a high-level architecture map.
4. Weekly progress updates with installable builds so I can review new features on-device.
The project wraps only when the final stores’ builds pass my acceptance tests and no critical bugs remain. Looking forward to working with someone who has shipped chat-heavy apps before and can keep me in the loop from kickoff to release.
