Cross-Platform Phone Location Logger
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
I need a straightforward mobile app that quietly records where the phone has been and lets me review that trail later. It must work on both iOS and Android, so feel free to reach for React Native, Flutter, or separate Swift / Kotlin builds—whichever you’re fastest with.
Core requirements
• Capture the device’s location once every hour in the background.
• For each entry I only need the timestamp and a human-readable address; raw coordinates are not required.
• Store the history locally and display it in a simple chronological list within the app. A basic export function (CSV or JSON) would be a welcome extra but isn’t mandatory.
I’ll consider the job complete when I can install an IPA/APK, see hourly entries accumulating with correct dates and addresses, and browse that log without the app needing to stay in the foreground. Let me know the framework you plan to use and any OS-level permissions I’ll have to enable so we can move ahead quickly.
