Overview
We are seeking an experienced App Development Consultant to guide and support the end-to-end development of an innovative mobile application. The consultant will collaborate closely with our team to provide strategic advice, technical insights, and project management expertise throughout the development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of app design, UX/UI, and security best practices, ensuring the final product meets functional, user, and market requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Strategy & Planning:
• Evaluate and refine the app concept to ensure feasibility and market fit.
• Develop a roadmap with milestones for development, testing, and deployment.
• Advise on technology stack selection (native vs. cross-platform tools).
• Project Guidance & Oversight:
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and stakeholders to align objectives.
• Provide input on app architecture, performance optimization, and scalability.
• Review and ensure compliance with relevant app store guidelines and legal requirements.
• Technical & Security Advice:
• Recommend best practices for data privacy and app security.
• Offer guidance on integrating authentication methods (e.g., passcode, biometrics).
• Advise on the management of app processes during lock/unlock events.
• Testing & Quality Assurance:
• Assist in developing test cases and coordinating beta testing.
• Identify and troubleshoot potential bugs and usability issues.
• Ensure smooth handoff to developers for issue resolution and feature improvements.
• Launch & Post-Launch Support:
• Provide input on app store optimization (ASO) strategies.
• Monitor app analytics post-launch and recommend enhancements.
• Advise on iterative updates based on user feedback and evolving needs.
Qualifications and Skills
• Proven experience in mobile app development (iOS and Android).
• Familiarity with app security, privacy regulations, and authentication processes.
• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and user-centered design.
• Experience with agile project management methodologies.
• Knowledge of app analytics tools (e.g., Firebase, Mixpanel).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Experience
• Experience with biometric authentication and security protocols.
• Familiarity with developing apps that run in background or lock-screen modes.
• Prior consulting experience in tech or product development.
