Cross-Platform Mobile App Development

We are seeking a seasoned mobile app developer to create a cross-platform app for Android and iOS. The design, comprising roughly 20 screens, is ready in Figma. The app will include passwordless authentication via biometrics and will integrate with our backend for reading and writing data via API.
Key Requirements:
1- Cross-Platform Development: Develop the app using a framework like Flutter or React Native, or natively for both platforms.
2- Security & Best Practices:
a. Secure Coding Practices: Adhere to OWASP Mobile Security Guidelines, including protection against common vulnerabilities like SQL injection, XSS, and insecure data storage.
b. Data Encryption: Implement end-to-end encryption for data in transit (using protocols like TLS) and at rest (using AES encryption).
c. Authentication Security: Integrate passwordless authentication using biometrics (fingerprint, face recognition) with secure fallback options. Implement OAuth 2.0 for secure user sessions.
d. API Security: Ensure all API communications are secured using token-based authentication and HTTPS. Implement rate limiting and logging for API requests to prevent abuse.
e. Compliance: Ensure the app complies with GDPR and other relevant data protection regulations, including providing users with control over their data and privacy settings.
3- API Integration: Handle reading and writing data through our backend API with secure communication and proper error handling.
4- Testing & Deployment: Conduct rigorous security testing, including penetration testing and code reviews. Manage deployment to Google Play and Apple App Store, ensuring all security requirements are met.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in developing mobile apps for Android and iOS.
- Strong knowledge of secure coding standards, encryption methods, and mobile security best practices.
- Experience with biometric authentication and secure API integration.
- Ability to translate Figma designs into a functional, secure app.
