Cross-Platform Face Detection App
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I'm looking for an experienced React Native developer to create a live feed camera app for both iOS and Android platforms. The app will utilize facial feature recognition to identify eyes, noses, and mouths. Additionally, I need image processing features like cropping and filtering.
Key Requirements:
- Live camera feed integration
- Facial feature recognition capability
- Image processing: cropping and filtering
- Cross-platform support for iOS and Android
Detecting whether the person is smiling
Determining if the eyes are open or closed
Checking if the person is looking directly at the camera
Detecting head position (e.g., tilted to the left, right, forward, or backward)
After capturing the photo:
The background should be removed
The photo should be processed in a biometric format (only head and shoulders visible)
The final output should be well-cropped with a transparent background
Real-time feedback messages in the UI (e.g., "Smile detected", "Eyes are closed", etc.)
A simple visual guide such as a face frame or bounding box around the detected face
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in React Native
- Experience with camera and image processing libraries
- Strong background in machine learning for facial recognition

We will not be using any api for face detection or background remove, we will be using machine learning, the captured photo will return uri and I will take care of the next steps and the backend.
