Covid 19 Tracking App

I am developing a mobile Android application for my senior thesis and cannot get the API I'm retrieving my data from to properly gather the data that needs to be refreshed. The project is primarily in Kotlin and is also using Retrofit. All that I need help with is properly configuring my application's API to retrieve the data.
