Construction Workforce Management App
Budget: €750 – €1,500 EUR
We need a robust, security-focused mobile app that helps our construction crews in Ireland record work time and manage site information. The app will be built in two phases: Phase 1 (must-have MVP) and Phase 2 (optional add-ons after 1–2 months of real use).
Phase 1 – must-have features:
• Cross-platform build (iOS and Android) so every worker can use the same tool.
• GPS-based clock in / clock out to log genuine work hours (start/finish time + location). If finish is forgotten or GPS mismatch occurs → prompt manual entry.
• Multiple bases (depots) logic: day counted from leaving base until returning; or fixed working hours if going directly to site.
• Overtime calculation: different overtime rates per site.
• Site diary where staff can:
• Upload photos (with optional descriptions).
• Photos auto-timestamped & sorted by date.
• Leave short notes.
• Contacts directory per site (roles, names, phone, photo). Access can be restricted by role.
• Fuel log: workers upload fuel receipts & mileage, admin dashboard calculates approximate consumption & costs.
• Material usage auto-calculation (tape, silicone, etc.) based on site parameters, with extra % allowance.
• Weather forecast integration: show rain probability for each site, hourly 07:00–17:00, full work week.
• Reminders: admin sets reminders linked to sites or workers (e.g. fill in SPA form when work starts).
• Finance dashboard (admin only): planned vs spent (wages, transport, materials) and projected profit per site.
• Double Job module: log rework/extra work with photos for additional billing.
• Documents per site: upload drawings/files with access controlled by admin.
• High security: only admin can see financial data, working hours breakdowns, sensitive info. Workers never see this.

• Checklists for tasks.
• Reports & exports.
• Extended notes/comments.
• Possible chat/notes feed per site.
