Connect a bluetooth device to our app

Scope of work
Implement the basic layer of communication between a stock Bluetooth device (scale) and our new react native app (IOS and Android), with the ultimate goal of providing a starting point for our internal developer team to consume the obtained data (visualization, storage etc).
Context
We already have a working communication with the device on our current app, angular js cordova based, ios and android). We implemented a cordova Java plugin which includes the .aar provided by the scale manufacturer, which enhances the Bluetooth communication: no issues encountered.
We realized that the .aar file cannot be used "out of the box" because the react native new app is receiving some cordova objects which cannot be used in React Native (e.g. apache.ResultPlugin).
Tools
After the nda signup, we will provide the api specs of the aar file, the source code and compiling instructions of the cordova based "old" app plus source code and compiling instructions of the react native "new" app, plus a technical contact point (developer)
