Smart Logistics App for Soil Transport with Central Control System (Android + iOS + Web Dashboard)
Project Description:
We are a startup in the construction and infrastructure industry, developing a smart digital platform to coordinate the transport of soil and fill materials between:
Material Suppliers (quarries, contractors)
Material Demanders (contractors and site managers)
Truck Companies (drivers with available containers)
All coordination is managed through a Central Control Center (our operations team).
Key Concept:
We don't rely only on return-trip capacity. In many cases, trucks leave in the morning with an empty container. We want to optimize both directions (outbound and return), with the main focus being on any opportunity to use an empty container.
How it works:
Suppliers and demanders submit their offers/requests.
The control center sees all supply/demand activity and also has access to weekly truck schedules from subscribed transport companies.
Based on that, we plan and assign efficient routes.
Drivers don’t manage routes – the control center handles everything.
App Features:
Mobile app (Android & iOS) – for drivers, suppliers, and demanders:
Drivers receive assignments and update statuses
Suppliers can see:
When trucks are scheduled to arrive
How many trucks arrived today
Demanders can see:
Which transport company is assigned
Estimated arrival time of trucks
Control Center (Web Dashboard):
Real-time map of trucks and jobs
View and manage supply/demand entries
Match and plan routes based on weekly schedules
GPS integration (e.g., Ituran or similar APIs)
User and task management panel
Tech Requirements:
Android & iOS apps (preferably Flutter)
Web dashboard (React or Angular + Firebase/Node.js backend)
GPS and map integration
Real-time database and status tracking
Business Model:
Still not finalized.
We are considering either:
Monthly subscription for users, where payments between parties are handled offline
OR
Centralized payments where the app pays transport companies and charges suppliers/requesters directly
You don’t need to build the payment module yet – it will be defined later.
