Car Touch-Up Tracking App

I already track vehicle touch-ups in a spreadsheet that holds the registration or stock number, make, colour, and tick-box columns for each panel (bonnet, boot, RHFD, LHRD and so on). Now I want the convenience and error-proofing of a mobile app.

Key goals
• Cross-platform: the app must run smoothly on both iOS and Android.
• Basic sign-in with email and password so only my team can add or edit records.
• When a registration or stock number is entered, the app has to alert us if that same vehicle was serviced in the last two months, preventing duplicate work.
• An easy form mirroring my current columns: vehicle ID details first, then quick tap check-boxes for each damaged panel.
• Instant search and filter so we can pull up past jobs in seconds.
• CSV/XLSX import for my existing spreadsheet and the ability to export data at any time.

Nice-to-have
If it is simpler or cost-effective, I use Xero for invoicing, so I’m open to pulling the vehicle, customer and date details from Xero into the app (or vice-versa) to avoid double entry.

I’m flexible on the technology stack—React Native, Flutter or whatever you’re quickest with, as long as it produces a single codebase for both platforms and is easy to maintain. Once finished I expect a tested build, all source code, and brief handover notes so I can add new panel names later if needed.
