Build an IOS - Android app which helps the user on identifying the best plants for their spaces
Budget: €1,500 – €3,000 EUR
I would like to find a developer which is able to build a cross platform app for IOS - Android. This app will help the user identify which plants are the best fit for his/her house, room, office or basically any space that the user wants. It will produce several plants recommendations based on the user requirements, location, level of sun light, and some other parameters important for determining if the plant is going to succeed. The app needs to be social based, meaning that users will have a profile not only with their currents plants, but also with the ones that have died and therefore haven't performed very well in the given environment/location. This information will create a database and then through some sort of search engine, locate which plants could work best in the user's space.
Furthermore, the app will allow user's which are either professionals or very knowledgeable of plants, to register as some sort of ambassadors, and offer their services of interior decoration combined with plant expertise to local people which are looking to give their homes/spaces a new look with greenery.
There are many apps in the app store similar to this, but all of them doing the same thing again and again. They are very good at identifying what type of plant it is, the problems it may have and the necessary precautions and care it needs. The main difference here, is that this app efforts are towards trying to avoid the possible problems someone may have when buying a plant which is not ideal for their location. Most of the people when buying plants only look at the aesthetic part and the care that it needs, but they don't know if the plant will perform well and survive.
It is just an initial idea, so I would also like whoever takes this job, to also assist and give some input into the development of the idea and the way it will work. Aside from the budget of building the app, I could potentially offer a percentage of the revenue given that a consistent amount of help into the apps idea is provided.
