Build Android app Chat feature using Node.Js and MongoDB (Currently, it's implemented in Firebase)

We are seeking a talented developer who will build a Chat feature in our Android application using node.Js & mongoDb (major UI changes not required). The existing chat feature is implemented using Firebase Realtime Database, But we would like to migrate it to a more scalable, cheaper, and flexible solution using node.js. The new chat feature should be capable of handling the following features:
There are 2 UI screens for this feature:
1. Friends screen
# All friends should be visible to the current user(if he/she has followed that user and vice-versa)
# Priority to show users (from top to bottom) should be as below;
- favorite user (users should be shown at the top)
- Unread chat should be shown at the top
- Last chat users should be shown as the top
# If the user is added or removed from chat(it should reflect in real-time)
# Notifications icon ? should be displayed in the navigation tab (if any new chat is available)
# Each user has the following data available e. g: unique UUID, image, and name.
2. Chat Screen
# Chat screen opens on selecting a particular user
# Previous chat history with current users should be available initially for the last 10 chats (LIFO orders) and more on scroll up
# User should be able to send and receive chat in real time (stored in MongoDB)
# Delete particular chat options should be available
# Chat Support opens the URL link and copies the chat text.
Existing Files Provided by us:
# Current Android code (XML +Java) which is based on the Firebase Db
Note: Avoid using a template or large npm library(a normal/basic npm library is fine). Data should be properly stored in Mongodb to avoid redundancy, and support scalability,
The ideal candidate should have experience with:
- Android (java)
- Node.js development(JavaScript)

- System Design and Data Structure & Algorithms
