Build Android Food Delivery App
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I need a full-featured food delivery application for Android that offers an experience comparable to Zomato or Swiggy. The build must run smoothly on modern Android devices, following Google Play guidelines from day one.
Core flow
From the first tap, users should be able to register or sign in quickly, browse restaurants, place an order, track it in real time on a map, and pay securely inside the app. I will supply basic restaurant data; you will wire everything together, including any required APIs, database tables, and payment gateway hooks.
Look & feel
The interface has to be colorful and vibrant—think lively imagery, bold accents, and intuitive gestures that make the ordering process fun rather than clinical. Please apply material-design best practices so the palette remains consistent across screens and animations feel native.
Tech expectations
Native Kotlin is preferred, though a high-performance cross-platform toolkit such as Flutter is acceptable if it does not restrict Android-first optimizations. Use Firebase, AWS, or an equivalent real-time backend for authentication and order status pushes. For payments, integrate a PCI-compliant gateway that already supports Indian debit/credit cards and UPI.
Deliverables
• Source code with clear comments
• Production-ready APK (debug + release builds)
• Simple admin or Postman collection to simulate restaurant order updates for testing
• One short video walk-through demonstrating login, ordering, tracking, and payment flow
• Handoff document covering environment setup, API keys, and deployment steps
Acceptance criteria
1. A new user can register, log in, and stay authenticated across sessions.
2. An item can be added to cart, the order placed, and payment completed without crashes.
3. Order status updates in under two seconds while tracking.
4. UI matches the agreed colorful style on at least three common screen sizes.
5. No critical issues flagged by Google Play’s pre-launch report.
If this aligns with your skill set and timeline, let me know what libraries or SDKs you would use, plus any questions you have about the restaurant data feed so we can get started right away.
