Bilingual Android Support Engineer, CDMX

Job ID: 40579416

Budget: $2 – $8 USD

I’m looking for a bilingual (Spanish-English) Android application support engineer based in Mexico City who can visit our customer’s site as well as operate out of our Roma/Condesa office as needed. The assignment is hourly and part-time, perfect for someone at the junior level who wants to grow into a developer role over time.

Your day-to-day will center on Android app enterprise deployments. You will configure and troubleshoot customer-owned tablets, install our app (via MDM) or side-load it, and validate every new release in their production environment. When something breaks, you’ll document the issue in clear English, escalate it to our remote engineering team, and follow up until it’s closed.

Solid communication skills are as important as your technical know-how; you will be the face of our U.S. startup in front of the client’s local IT staff. Prior experience supporting enterprise Android apps—whether through Intune, Hexnode or a similar platform—will help you hit the ground running. Further, if you have networking and NAS skills required to setup and maintain an IT depot, you’ll advance faster.

Ideally, candidates should have 1-2 years of experience in Android app development or support. However, interns with no prior experience are also welcome to apply if they can demonstrate the required skills.

Deliverables I expect from each visit:
• A concise ticket or report for every problem found, with steps to reproduce
• A checklist confirming tablet configuration and app installation status
• Feedback on the latest release’s performance in the field

If you are eager to solve real-world mobility issues, enjoy mixing hands-on hardware work with app support, and want a path toward development work, let’s talk.
