Bare Metal Backup/Restore App
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
Looking for a BARE METAL backup application to be built for APPLE and ANDROID as well as a website complete with UI for people to sign up, view backups, Download backups, Update Credit Card on file, Make Payment on acct, Delete backups, Track lost phone.
The Application for APPLE and ANDROID MUST work flawlessly without error. When customer opens app for 1st time customer will be met with LOGON or CREATE acct screen. The APP will be FREE once the user signs up or logs on. The user will be met with a menu that asks if they want to BACKUP, VIEW BACKUPS, or RECOVER if the user selects BACKUP the app will then ask if the user wants a FULL backup (this means everything on the device all apps, files, settings a TRUE bare metal backup of the phone that will when restored return to the phone to its exact state that it is in with all apps etc that are on the phone, messages, call logs, text messages everything.Once they select start the app will send all of this information to our server to an acct that is only accessable by the user and password protected by the USER ID and PASSWORD chosen at signup . Backup will be done by SFTP. If the user wants to SELECT what is backed up. The user will be able to select the items that they want to backup such as APPS, MESSAGES, PICTURES, SYSTEM STATE, FILES, CONTACTS etc..Once they select start the app will send all of this information to our server to an acct that is only accessable by the user and password protected by the USER ID and PASSWORD chosen at signup. BOTH backups will show a progress BAR that shows a percentage of the backup that is done and a estimated time remaining on the backup.
If the user wants to RECOVER data back to their phone.
the app will reach out to our SFTP server and download the backup files and place them where they go onto the phone exactly where they were pulled from. IF FULL BACKUP was selected then app will return the phone back to its original state with EVERYTHING exactly the way it was when the backup was done even if the phone has been factory reset on both apple and android devices. IF backup was only selected items then all those items backed up will be returned exactly where they were when backup was created as well.
Account signup process on APP
User will be asked for : Name, address, City, State, Zip Code, Mobile phone #, Email address. Customer will have the option at this point to select either Sign up for Backup storage services at the rate of $9.95 per month or select 48 hour FREE Temporary backup acct. If 48 hour FREE temporary storage is selected the user will be then ALEARTED that data will be DELETED after 48 hours and not recoverable after that period and all backup will need to be restored BEFORE that period runs out.
If user selects PAID storage then they will be prompted to enter credit card information for Visa, Mastercard, Amex, or Discover and that info will be sent to our servers DB along with the signup information to be stored and billed monthly on the same date as sign up every month until canceled
SERVER SIDE / WEB SITE
On the server side there will be a flashy website with a sign up, log in option for backup services.
Once user is on the site they will see their most recent backup, plan they are on FREE or PAID storage
Option to update Credit card on file, Download backup or delete back up , Track LOST phone
User will be able to UPGRADE plan from FREE to PAID storage but will need to enter credit card when doing so, this credit card will be charged immedately the $9.95 when the submit is selected. The credit card they place on file will be billed every month on the same day they have signed up for services. until canceled
User will be also able to cancel services on main acct page if they so wish.
More REQUIREMENTS are needed but running out space to list here. But you get the idea will also have to do GPS TRACKING AND REPORTING TO SERVER AS WELL
