Barcode Scanning app for Android
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I am in need of a barcode scanning app for Android that can handle 1D (linear) barcodes. The app will be used for personal purposes, but specifically, I need it to have the capability of a live scan. This means it must be able to quickly process several barcodes in rapid succession in real time without the need for an internet connection. The ideal candidate will be experienced in developing such apps, and have a portfolio of similar projects to show. Please get in touch if you think you have the necessary skills and experience.
The app Flow is like the below:
1. Login into the app with your email/password.
2. User will see the dashboard with the following bottom navigation menu Pending Audit List, completed audits, scan barcode, and Profile.
3. After login user will see the list of pending audits
4. On click of import data from an individual item from the list into the local device database.
5. In the scanned barcode, we have to open the device camera and the user can scan the barcode.
6. If barcode scanning data match with local device DBdata then change the status of specific data as required.
7. If barcode scanning data doesn't match and new data is found then insert it into the local DB.
8. Complete process goes offline for barcode scanning and updating local DB.
9. Once the user has done the scanning for a day; the user can upload/sync the data with the server.
10. In completed audits list will show all the audits that were submitted to the server.
11. In the profile section, the user can see the basic information.
I need only an Android app and the technology is not specific. Also, the web API and UI are ready to use.
