Audio Hardware Control App

I am seeking someone who can develop an Android app that connects to the AudioHub via USB and controls the system via custom protocol. You’ll work alongside an embedded engineer who has already implemented low-level communication.

Key Responsibilities:
Create a production-quality Android app that:
Communicates over USB serial (CDC/VCOM)
Sends and receives binary commands using the nnlCom protocol
Interfaces with the AudioHub to:
Select audio input source (pataudio)
Adjust microphone/headset volume (patmic, voll, volr)
Display responses and device status (swinfo, temp, etc.)
Runs in kiosk mode (prevents users from exiting without access)
Includes access to settings screen (password protected or hidden gesture)
Integrates a local music player for audio playback
Design a clean, user-friendly UI suitable for clinical use

Tech Requirements:
Android tablet (7” horizontal) is the target device
Must support USB serial communication (e.g., with felHR85/UsbSerial or similar)
Written in Kotlin or Java (Kotlin preferred)
Compatible with Android 10+
