We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled mobile app designer to conceptualize and develop a user-friendly Asset Register Mobile Application that will facilitate the check-in and check-out of assets using barcode scanning technology. The system should be capable of managing asset movements effectively, ensuring real-time visibility and traceability of all registered items.
The solution must consist of both a Windows-based desktop version and a cloud-based web/mobile platform, with the ability to operate in both online and offline environments where required. The system will incorporate tiered user access rights, audit trails, asset history, and a comprehensive reporting dashboard.
Key Features Required:
1. Asset Registration Module:
• Ability to register, categorize, and tag assets with unique identifiers
• Attach asset details such as model, serial number, purchase date, condition, and custodian
2. Barcode Scanning & Processing:
• Mobile barcode scanning via device camera or external scanner
• Barcode generation and printing functionality
• Check-in and check-out operations with time stamps and user information
3. User Rights Management:
• Admin, Supervisor, and General User roles
• Role-based access to asset data and system functions
4. Track and Trace Functionality:
• Real-time updates on asset location and user activity
• History log of all movements and changes made to each asset
