Android app to display CAN bus data
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I'm looking for a dev to work on a project. I need to determine if the device I am using is capable of what I need. The device is a 12.3" Android head unit (radio/automotive type device). It has CANBus built into it along with bluetooth etc. I am not sure if the android application that I need can access it or if its best to transmit data to this 12.3" display via bluetooth?
Initially to test, I will need an Android application written in Kotlin to display data from CANbus which is integrated into the device I am using.
End goal is to design this application to display data in a visually appealing UI with Android features integrated into it like Google maps etc. It is for an automotive application.

First milestone is to test whether CANbus on the device is accessible by the application and can display test data on screen. You can use an Arduino on your end to verify your application works BEFORE sending it to me. Please use Android Studio for this effort.
**** As a reply, please give your technical approach on what you intend to use to test connectivity. Without a technical response you will NOT be considered.
DO NOT give me a hourly rate. If you understand what the requirements are then you know what it will take to create this small canbus test application and can give a complete price. Any hourly quote will be archived and dismissed.
