Android YouTube View Exchange App
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I’m building an Android-only “view-for-view” platform where members earn views for their own YouTube videos by watching those of others. The core build I need from you is the initial MVP that proves the loop works smoothly on mobile.
Scope of the first release
• Secure user registration and login (email or Google sign-in).
• A simple feed that serves YouTube videos and silently tracks watch time. Once a video reaches the minimum watched threshold the view is logged to our server and the viewer’s credit balance updates.
• Real-time in-app notifications to confirm credits earned, alert users when their own videos hit new view milestones, and announce community updates.
• Clean admin-side counters so I can monitor total views delivered and flag suspicious activity.
Tech notes
Native Android (Kotlin or Java), Firebase for auth, database, and push are fine, but I’m open to an alternative stack if it accelerates development and keeps costs in check. YouTube API integration is obviously essential for validating views; please confirm you have worked with it before.
Deliverable
An APK plus source code in a Git repo, accompanied by a brief setup/readme so I can run it locally and push to Google Play when ready. All three features above must be fully functional and tested on current Android versions.
