I need an Android-only application that lets me record every animal I spot on safari. The goal is simple: capture each sighting quickly, tag it with location, time, species and a photo, then store everything in a well-structured log I can review later or export.
Core workflow I’m picturing
• Open the app, tap “New Sighting”, the camera launches, and once I take a photo the app pulls in GPS coordinates and the current timestamp automatically.
• A clean form then prompts for species name, number of animals, behaviour notes and any extra comments.
• When I’m offline in the bush the data must save locally; once I regain service I want a one-tap sync to Google Drive or similar so nothing is lost.
Key deliverables
– Full Android APK and source code (written in Kotlin or Java).
– Simple, attractive UI that stays usable in bright sunlight.
– Local database plus optional cloud backup/export to CSV or PDF.
– Basic dashboard showing sighting history with filters for date, species and location.
Acceptance criteria
