Android WebView App Enhancement and Update
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I am looking for an experienced Android developer to enhance my existing WebView app with several new features. The app is currently live on the Google Play Store and needs the following enhancements:
Splash Screen:
Display a splash screen with my logo for 5 seconds when the app is launched.
External URL Handling:
Ensure that links intended for external applications, such as Google Maps, open the appropriate app instead of attempting to open within the WebView.
Offline Image:
Show a specified image when there is no internet connection.
First-Time Launch Message:
Display a message on the first launch only: "Thank you for installing the app, few words... blablabla."
Navigation Buttons:
On Android, ensure that pressing the "back" button closes the app.
Google Play Console Update:
Replace the current app version on the Google Play Console with the updated version so that all users with the app installed are prompted to update.
Requirements:
Proven experience with Android app development.
Proficiency with WebView, handling URLs, and implementing splash screens.
Ability to handle offline scenarios and display appropriate images.
Experience with Google Play Console and app updates.
Good communication skills and the ability to provide regular updates on project progress.
Must be able to complete the job within 2 days.
