Android Weather App Development
Budget: ₹1,250 – ₹2,500 INR
I’m building a dedicated Android weather app and need a developer who can handle the full cycle—from fetching data with the OpenWeatherMap API to shipping a polished, production-ready APK on Google Play.
Core experience you’ll bring:
• Real-time current conditions, multi-day forecast, and push or in-app weather alerts rendered smoothly in Material-styled screens.
• Confident use of Android SDK, Kotlin or Java, Retrofit/Volley (your call) for REST calls, JSON parsing, and good offline/error handling.
• Notification channels, runtime permissions, and battery-friendly background refresh.
The data source is firmly OpenWeatherMap for now, though I’m open to adding others later if you architect the code with clean interfaces.
Deliverables I expect:
1. Complete Android Studio project with well-commented source code.
2. Signed release APK plus a short deployment guide.
3. Brief README covering API key setup, build steps, and any third-party libraries used.
4. One-week post-handover window for bug fixes.
