Android Task Alarm App Development
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
A native Android alarm-executive app is required that can alert every user about their upcoming tasks in an automated, battery-friendly way. The experience must feel seamless and fast, even when dozens of alarms are queued and the device is in Doze mode.
Core functionality
The build centres on Task notifications and fully Customizable alarms. Users will be able to create or edit tasks manually inside the app and, when enabled, the app will pull data through Integration with other apps/tools—specifically Task management tools such as Trello, Asana, Jira or any service exposed through a RESTful API—to schedule alarms automatically.
Technical direction
Kotlin (or modern Java) with Android Jetpack components, WorkManager for reliable background scheduling, Room for local persistence, and FCM for push sync all make sense here. The UI should follow Material 3 guidelines, stay lightweight, and run flawlessly from Android 8 through the latest release. Security (encrypted local data), internationalisation hooks, and strict battery-optimised background execution are part of the build quality bar.
Store release & lifecycle
Beyond coding, the scope covers the full Google Play Console flow: creating the listing, supplying screenshots/graphics, configuring signing keys, and pushing the first production release. After launch, regular updates are expected (bug fixes, small feature drops, API level bumps) so the project structure should be version-ready from day one.
Deliverables
• Source code hosted in a private Git repo, properly documented
• Signed APK/AAB ready for Play submission
• Play Store assets and completed listing
• Integration endpoints or SDK hooks for chosen Task management tools
• Post-launch update plan and one month of complimentary maintenance
Acceptance criteria will be met once the app passes internal testing on at least three device profiles, alarms trigger consistently in background/Doze, and the first version is live on Google Play. Only seasoned Android developers with tangible Play Store experience should apply.
