Android Social Networking App Build
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
I’m developing a dedicated social networking experience and require a native Android application that centres on three core pillars: real-time messaging, rich user profiles, and a dynamic news feed.
Scope
• Full Android (Kotlin/Java) codebase structured for maintainability
• Secure user authentication that leads into customizable profile screens with avatar, bio, and follower counts
• One-to-one and group messaging with push notifications, image/file sharing, and message read receipts
• Infinite-scroll news feed that supports text, image, and short-video posts, plus basic reactions and comment threads
• Clean, modern UI following Google’s Material 3 guidelines
Deliverables
1. Production-ready APK and source code in a private Git repo
2. Database schema (Firebase, Supabase, or another mobile-friendly backend—advise on best fit)
3. Brief setup/run documentation and API keys clearly separated from the repo
4. One round of bug-fixing after initial review
Acceptance Criteria
– App installs and launches on Android 8.0 and above without crashes
– All three feature areas (messaging, profiles, feed) are fully functional and persist data across sessions
– UI passes accessibility checks (contrast, touch targets, TalkBack labels)
Timeline is flexible but I’d like an initial test build within three weeks so we can iterate quickly on UX details. I’m happy to discuss libraries, architecture patterns, or any questions before we start.
