Android Social Networking App Development
Budget: ₹400 – ₹750 INR
I need a brand-new social networking app built natively for Android. The goal is to give users a smooth place to create profiles, add friends, share text, photos and short videos, and interact through comments and reactions—nothing bloated, just the essentials done really well.
Scope of work
• Design a clean, modern UI that follows the latest Material Design guidelines.
• Develop the full Android application in Kotlin (or Java if you prefer) with responsive layouts for phones and tablets.
• Build a lightweight backend (Firebase or another cloud solution you recommend) to handle authentication, real-time feeds, media storage and push notifications.
• Implement basic privacy controls: block/report, public vs. private profile toggle.
• Connect everything with secure APIs and make sure data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
• Provide thorough testing and a signed APK ready for launch on Google Play, along with the full source code in a Git repo.
Acceptance criteria
1. Smooth sign-up/log-in using email, Google and Facebook.
2. Feed loads in under two seconds on 4G.
3. Media uploads capped at 20 MB and compressed automatically.
4. App passes Play Store submission checks without warnings.
5. Clear README so any future developer can build from source in one step.
