Android Social Media App Development
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I want to bring a new social-media idea to life on Android. The goal is a clean, intuitive app where users can create profiles, share posts (text, images, or short videos), follow one another, and interact through likes and comments. Real-time notifications, basic in-app messaging, and a simple onboarding flow are also part of the scope so the community feels lively from day one.
You would handle the complete Android build—from setting up the project in Android Studio through to an installable APK. I am open to Kotlin or Java, whichever you are most comfortable with, as long as the code is well-structured and easy to maintain. If you prefer Firebase (Firestore, Auth, Cloud Storage, Push), that works for me; alternative back-end stacks are fine too as long as they support scalable user management and media handling.
Key deliverables:
• Fully functional Android app (API 26+) packaged as an APK
• Source code in a private Git repository with clear commit history
• Brief setup document so another developer can run the project locally
• Short walkthrough video or screen-share demo highlighting core features
Acceptance criteria:
• Smooth sign-up/login, post creation, feed browsing, and interaction flows
• No crashes on common devices and screen sizes; passes basic Play Store checks
• Clear, commented code and a README that outlines build steps and third-party services used
