I’m looking for a skilled mobile developer to create a social media app exclusively for Android. The core goal is to let users meet, share content, and interact smoothly in real time.
Key objectives
• Design a clean, modern UI that feels intuitive on current Android devices.
• Implement user sign-up/login with email, phone, or Google authentication.
• Build a dynamic feed where users can post text, images, and short videos.
• Add basic engagement tools—likes, comments, follows, and simple push notifications.
• Include in-app direct messaging between users.
• Provide an admin panel (web or in-app) so I can moderate content and manage user reports.
What I’ll supply
• Wireframe sketches outlining the main screens.
• Brand colors and typography guidelines.
• Sample user stories and acceptance criteria.
What I need from you
• Full Android app coded in Kotlin (or Java if strongly preferred) that meets current Play Store guidelines.
• Source code managed in Git with clear commit history.
• A brief hand-off guide: build/run steps, key libraries, and configuration details.
• Post-launch bug-fix window for any critical issues discovered within the first month.
Nice to have (not mandatory but appreciated)
• Experience integrating Firebase for auth, storage, and push notifications.
• Ability to advise on scalable backend options—Firebase, AWS Amplify, or a lightweight Node.js API.
• Forward-looking structure so an iOS version could be added later without major rework.
