Android Root Module Developer – Custom Camera Feed Spoofing (Magisk / LSPosed)
Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
I’m looking for a skilled Android developer with deep experience in rooted environments to build a custom camera spoofing module for use with specific apps.
The goal is to inject a fake camera feed (image or real-time video) in place of the native camera input only when targeted apps request camera access. This must work on a per-app basis, with toggle options.
Key Features:
Hook into system camera calls (e.g., Camera2 / CameraX APIs)
Replace native camera feed with a user-defined image or looping video
Per-app targeting (only spoof selected apps)
Real-time simulation preferred over static images
Optional: metadata spoofing (e.g., timestamp, camera info)
Toggle functionality via Magisk or LSPosed
Must support Android 11+ (Pixel 4 XL is my test device)
Preferred Developer Traits:
Comfortable working with Magisk, LSPosed, Riru, Zygisk
Strong understanding of Android system internals
Experience with camera service hooks, system modules, or spoofing techniques
Clean, stable code (ideally with comments and module toggle support)
Bonus if you’ve worked with anti-spoof detection (dating apps, secure apps, etc.)
Budget Notes:
I haven’t set a fixed budget—I'm open to realistic quotes based on scope and your experience. I value:
Efficiency
Functionality
A clean, reliable result
If this goes well, I’d be open to follow-up enhancements or additional modules.
To Apply, Please Include:
Relevant experience (links to GitHub, prior modules, or rooted Android work)
A rough timeline or plan for how you’d approach this
Any questions or suggestions for improving the spec
Let’s build something clever. Looking forward to hearing from you.
