Android React Native app development

I am looking for an experienced Android React Native app developer to help me with an ongoing project. The main purpose of the app is text messaging.

This is an existing Android application written in React Native
The Android app communicates with a server via REST API.
The app is to be updated in this scope to
1.) Register and receive notifications from Firebase. Subscribe with firebase using provided google-services.json and send the fcm device token to the server via relevent API
2.) The server fully supports sending notifications to Firebase. The current Android app polls the server for notifications on 10 second timer, this will change to only poll the server after receiving a firebase notification..
3.) Update login to generate token with extra parameters regarding version of app and OS version
4.) fix all related bugs to above changes found in testing.

Upon successful completion, further scopes will be provided.

Skills and Experience:
- Strong knowledge and experience in React Native app development
- Proficiency in Android app development
- Previous experience with messaging apps is preferred
- Ability to work within a tight deadline and deliver high-quality results

The project requires the following:
- Collaborating with the existing team to enhance and add new features to the app
- Implementing UI/UX designs and ensuring a smooth user experience
- Optimizing the app for performance and scalability
- Testing and debugging the app to ensure functionality and stability
